According to the text of the search warrant, against Basmanov "and other unidentified persons" the FSB in the Komi Republic opened a criminal case under three articles of the Criminal Code at once - justification of terrorism (part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), incitement of hatred (clause "c" part 2 Article 282 of the Criminal Code) and organization of the activities of an extremist organization and participation in such (parts 1 and 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
In Syktyvkar, the former leader of the nationalist organization "Frontier of the North" Alexei Kolegov was searched, in Saratov - the leader of the Black Front - Saratov movement Andrei Martsev. In addition, the security forces also came with a search in this case to the Saratov apartment of the emigrated National Bolshevik Mikhail Pulin, and in Nizhny Novgorod - to the apartment of his wife Ekaterina Maksimova.
Maksimova told reporters that during the search, they seized the badge of the Revolutionary Workers' Party, stickers in support of the prisoners of the New Greatness and Come to the March of Dissent, party card of the National Bolshevik Party in the name of her husband dated August 20, 2005, signed by Eduard Limonov, Alexei Makarov's book "Idealism-2005", a letter from political prisoner anarchist Ilya Roman to Mikhail Pulin, and a letter that Pulin wrote to her from prison.
The people who were searched told SOTA that they considered it an “act of intimidation”: the security forces invaded their homes through windows and broke down doors, and asked vague questions during the investigation.
