On March 6, 2022, anti -war rallies were held in dozens of cities of Russia. In the morning, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were on duty in the center of Moscow and detained protesters.
At about 17:30, two men in sports jackets and identical knitted hats were added in the view of the police field; 37-year-old Vladimir Sergeyev and 39-year-old Anton Zhuchkov at that moment left the metro and walked along Bolshoi Bronnaya. They were stopped by employees of the 2nd special regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this moment was recorded on a video recorder fixed on one of them.
“Good day,” the policeman turns to men. - Are there any documents with you?
“Yes, of course,” Anton Zhuchkov replies. While he unfastened his backpack, his friend takes out his passport and passes it to the policeman.
The employee asks Vladimir Sergeyev to show the “portfolio”, he unfastened the zipper. At this time, Anton takes something out of his pocket, puts in his mouth and washed down with an energy engineer. With half a minute, Sergeyev digs in the pocket of his jacket, also puts something in his mouth and only then opens a backpack. Subsequently, it turned out that both friends took capsules with a methadone.
- What is it in bottles? The security officer asks in surprise, looking into the backpack. The video contains poorly - only a red lid and a plastic bag.
“Yes, there is vodka,” Sergeyev replies.
- Vodka? You can get it, ”the employee asks, and then, having looked closely, exclaims. - Not a fig is vodka!
- Yes? Not vodka ... ”Sergeyev confirms a little smiling.
“I have to detain you with this business,” the employee says grinning. He asks Zhuchkov and Sergeyev to go with him and says that his colleagues will “examine what it is”, and maybe the detainees will be released.
On the way to Avtosak, he asks if men have knives or “something like that” with him, and when he hears what is, he says with a laugh: “Is there? Excellent ... What are so charged? Where are these gathered? And guys? " What bugs and Sergeev answer are no longer heard.
At Avtozak, men are ordered to stand with their backs and spread their legs wide, and then searched.
- Why do you need cocktails [Molotov]? - The question is heard.
“Yes, they thought, maybe a couple of your fleas -farms,” Sergeyev replies.
The policeman who detained his friends reacts just as calmly and calls them “strange”, but other security forces are falling up.
- And what, it didn’t work, Gondon? One of them asks. Someone behind the scenes without stopping asks: “Why did they want to set us fire, huh?”
“You will sit down, freaks.” You will sit like roosters, on a bottle, fucking, - another voice threatens. - Creatures, I promise you, you will sit on the bubbles, the roosters are fucking.
The video from the registrar of another employee shows what this is the policeman with the epaulettes of the lieutenant colonel. He also shot the contents of the detainees' backpacks on the phone. On the same day, this video appeared in the public “Polite people / Army of Russia / Svo”.
In Sergeyev’s backpack, they then found a small canister with a gas cylinder attached to it, a bottle of “Russian currency” with a hunting match wiped to the neck-later the examination recognized them with home-made incendiary devices, but could not find out if they were in working condition, as well as a pack of the same confinement, two home-made tyes and two home-made tyes and two home-made tyes Medicines. There were respirators, a swimming mask, two pairs of motorcycle gloves and a plastic can with money in the bugokov’s backpack - in total, men had more than 200 thousand rubles with them.
The police officer who detained Omsk, meanwhile, continued to ask Sergeyev.
-And what did you want to set fire to, why? What are the reasons? Just like that? On joke?
“Because everything was so fucked here,” he answers.
- Well, what? War or, well ... - the employee clarifies.
- Our power fucked up, the war fucked up, you fucked up.
At some point, another policeman intervenes and rudely says: "What are you fucking, fucking gondon, fucking." Behind the scenes, the threats “put on a bottle” are heard again. Someone demands to “stretch” Sergeyev wider, on one of the videos from the registrars it is clear that the man was forced to place his legs too wide. Because of this, the police, holding it with Avtosak, complain that they have to keep him on weight and they are hard.
Periodically, the scenes can be heard questions that different employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs vying for Sergeyev.
-What did we do to you? -asks one of the security forces.
“Protect them,” says the detainee.
- And why, why, are we not people?
“Why burn you,” Sergeyev wonders. - Burn cars, auto -zaks.
“And in these auto -zats, our people are sitting, detainees,” the policeman has a fever.
- Well, nothing, they will run out. Auto -zak is on a long time, - says Vladimir.
All this time, an employee who stopped friends also continues to ask Sergeyev as calmly why he and his friend decided to take such a step, whether they paid if they had a plan, whether they took drugs and whether he knocked out his “partner” for this. A little later, when men are already going to bring up in a car gut, the same policeman reassures more rude colleagues and, pleased with himself, says that Sergeyev told him everything and everything was written for him: "What, where, who, why, why, why."

In the case file there are reports of several police officers who were present during the detention of Sergeyev and Zhuchkov. They argue that initially friends were outraged by the request to present documents, and then, although the video from the registrars indicates the opposite, tried to resist. This was claimed even by Arthur Bekbulatov and Nikita Tarola - employees who, according to the documents, stopped friends for verification.
The detainees were taken to the department in the Tver district, but on the way to Zhuchkov became bad and he lost consciousness. He was taken by the ambulance called by the police. Sergeyev was still able to take to the department and send it to a medical examination. After that, he also lost consciousness and was, like Zhuchkov, delivered to the Sklifosovsky ambulance research institute, where friends were diagnosed with methadone poisoning. Sergeyev also diagnosed someone and traumatic brain injury; According to medical documents, he had multiple abrasions on his face.
The next day, a criminal case on the attempt on hooliganism by a group of people with the use of weapons was opened against them. According to investigators, Sergeyev and Zhuchkov, “guided by the motives of political, ideological hatred, as well as the motives of hatred” to the security forces, made Molotov cocktails and were going to set fire to police cars to “publicly demonstrate the neglect of legal and moral standards accepted by the Society” and intimidate police officers.
They were able to charge men only ten days later - after discharge from the hospital.
First, Vladimir Sergeyev pleaded guilty. During interrogation, he said that he wanted to express a protest "against a military operation in Ukraine and confrontation with the West."
“I experienced fear for Russia and its future, as well as for the life of military personnel, both ours and Ukrainian,” Vladimir explained. To the investigator’s question, how he could convey the essence of his protest, if he tried to commit suicide, the man replied: “The essence of my act would be understandable regardless of whether I am alive or not. I was at an anti -war rally and protested against this. ”
In the case file, there is a confession signed by Sergeyev on March 18, in which he said that he suggested that his friend set fire to an empty police car, made Molotov and Castle cocktails. Methadone, this document says, in the amount of 1.5 grams bought bugs and handed it over to it.
Later, Sergeyev refused confessions. According to his defender Svetlana Bratsova, they "were given under pressure and without a lawyer." Lawyer Zhuchkova Dmitry Sotnikov also says that in fact it was not a confession, but a “veiled form of interrogation” without a defender.
“A confession is a reason for conducting a check. That is, this is a stage before the initiation of a criminal case. Here a person sits in a pre -trial detention center, a criminal case has been instituted on him, he already has a lawyer, ”he says. - The opera FSB comes to him, asks, writes. Legally, this is an interrogation without a lawyer, drawn up on the confession form. ” Nevertheless, it was this document that subsequently served as the reason for the accusation of Zhuchkov of a sale of drugs.
Anton Zhuchkov himself from the very beginning claimed that he did not plan any arson, but only wanted to commit suicide. “I [methadone] accepted so as not to see what was happening in the world: war in Ukraine, events in the Donbass, I was also afraid of a nuclear war. Therefore, I wanted to deprive myself of my life so as not to see what would happen next, including worried that young people would live in poverty, ”he said during interrogation.
Answering a question about methadone, Zhuchkov said that he had acquired it on the Internet about six months before the promotion. What kind of drug he bought and Anton could not name his exact weight, but he insisted that he did not pass it to Sergeyev.
The materials have a mention of a video made by a police officer Roman Slashchinin in Avtosak after detention. What exactly happened there is unknown - there is no video or its decryption in the materials, only two screenshots on which Sergeyev and Bugs are visible and a postscript that, from the words of the employee, they admitted in an attempt to set fire to a police car.
According to Lawyer Sotnikov, I saw the Zhuchkov record itself only once, in the first interrogation. Then he said that he would recognize himself on the video, but he does not remember when he was recorded. “When I pronounced the words to the camera, I was not in myself, I did not plan to burn anyone, I did not want to harm anyone. I believe that at that time I had an affective state, a state of panic, ”he said.
Sotnikov says that the video from the case file has not yet been shown. In theory, he argues, this record is the only proof of the Zhuchkov motif, but besides the fact that they do not know what exactly the accused was talking about, it was done illegally, and Anton at that time was already under the influence of methadone.
“How can you qualify this video? During the service, a person took out his personal mobile phone and began to record. The law on the police does not say that the employee has the right to do so, ”the lawyer says. -If this is an operational-search event, it should be somehow designed. If the procedural actions with the detainee, then he had the right to a lawyer. ”
In the future, Zhuchkov refused to testify, using the 51st article of the Constitution. On March 17 last year, the Khamovnican District Court sent men to a pre -trial detention center.
Vladimir and Anton met 15 years ago in one of the Omsk computer clubs. In 2015, Sergeyev moved to Moscow and got a job in the scientific center by our welder of machine tools. After some time, he convinced to move to the capital and Anton. He worked as a guard and resigned from the last work shortly before the action.
The former girl Sergeyeva, Anna Agapova, told the investigator that Vladimir was “alarming”, “bad news” “depressively influenced him.” She said “Mediazone” that, in her opinion, he would not have set fire to police cars: “Vova, of course, was indignant and emoted on what was happening in the country and felt powerlessness. But would he use what he brought? I doubt very much. Think does not mean to do. ”
During the interrogation, Zhuchkova called “more closed” and “infantile” during the interrogation. After moving to Moscow, she said, Anton quit drinking, got a job and began to teach English.
Both Vladimir and Anton grew up without fathers, Zhuchkov’s mother died in 2009 and he had no more relatives left, Sergeyev’s mother said during interrogation. According to her, in addition to studying, her son was fond of computer games, he was “closed, not sociable, not a leader”, he has no close friends and he does not share any political views.
Nevertheless, on March 17 last year, a certificate from the FSB appeared in the case, where friends are characterized as “convinced supporters of radical anarchist ideology”, which aims to “violent change in the basics of the constitutional system” of Russia.
The document states that during a search in Sergeyev’s rented apartment they found components from which he collected Molotov cocktails, and the book “The Philosophical Diary of a Murderer Maniac”, and in March 2014 he went to Kyiv “Presumably with the aim of participating in Euromaidan”. In addition, bugs, according to the security forces, “was recorded by a number of people in the contacts of mobile phones under the pseudonym“ Anarcho Amoral ”.”
Based on this certificate, at the end of April, the case against Sergeyev and Zhuchkov was retrained to prepare a terrorist attack by a group of persons.
The prosecution says that friends had a “steady belief” against the war and with the aim of protest against “conducting a special military operation” in Ukraine, they decided to set fire to special transport. The investigation considered this an attempt to commit the attack “with a large accumulation of citizens who are awesome the population and creating the danger of the death of people”, the purpose of which is to destabilize power in Russia and force it to stop the war.
At the end of last year, Anton Zhuchkov was charged with another charge: a significant sales of drugs. According to investigators, in the Darknet he acquired 1.5 grams of methadone and “defeated” Sergeyev. Investigators, as the lawyer says, was determined by the story of Vladimir (he spoke about so much in the turnout). In this case, there are expert conclusions in the case file, it is simply impossible to find out how many methadone bugs and Sergeyev took.
The 2nd Western District Military Court began to consider the case of Sergeyev and Zhuchkov at the end of March. The case is considering the three judges, and they want to complete the process as soon as possible - according to the lawyer, this is due to the fact that they have to travel beyond Moscow and the Moscow Region for visiting meetings.
Shortly before the start of the process, the accused was transferred from the Butyrka pre -trial detention center to the “sailor silence”, lawyers were not warned about this, so they did not have time to meet with the clients in order to coordinate the position, says Dmitry Sotnikov: to sign up for the investigative insulator in three weeks.
"The judges said:" You are coordinating the position in the hall. " We say: "Take out the convoy then." "We cannot remove the convoy. We have an instruction of the Supreme Court that the convoy must be next to them." I say: "You have a hall here is stuffed with sound recordings. How do I know that they are turned off? Why should I agree on confidential information in the presence of third parties-convoys, someone else." This is complete nonsense, ”Sotnikov is indignant.
At the first meeting on March 28, as the project “Zone of Solidarity” wrote , supporting the arrested for anti -war actions, Zhuchkov said that “he did not consider himself guilty of any of the accusations.” Sergeev, too, does not plead guilty to the article on preparing for the attack and is sure that his actions should be qualified as “solitary preparation for hooliganism”.
Giving testimony in court, Zhuchkov again repeated that he was not going to burn anything. “I did not plan any destruction. <...> The only thing I wanted to do is to commit suicide, since it is impossible to be in a world where a war occurs, which can become the last war, ”the Sota illuminated his words. He also said that after the detention, the police insulted him and his family, and then removed his boots from him and beat him with a electric shocker.
Sergeev, as the publication wrote, also spoke about violence: the security forces, according to him, beat him with their feet and poked their faces in a dirty car. He insisted that he did not devote a friend to his friend’s police car in his plans, and he acquired methadone on his own. Vladimir said that the police pressed him, convincing to make a deal with the investigation and promising that then they would be judged under an article on hooliganism, and not a terrorist attack. According to him, after resuscitation, he simply read the testimony that employees gave him. Due to the fact that he changed his testimony, the prosecutor asked to announce what he said in the investigation.
According to Lawyer Sotnikov, they could not achieve an inspection of the video that the Slashchinin employee shot, and did not interrogate him himself. The prosecutors motivated this by the fact that he quit, but the lawyer believes that such an explanation does not withstand any criticism. “The video from the autozak was generally disappeared: the investigator did not give it to the court, the court refused to demand it. The prosecutor called the investigator as a witness. We objected. The prosecutor asks the investigator: "Is everything right in the video inspection protocol of the video from the autozak?" Investigator: "I myself did not inspect, my colleague made the protocol, but I think he made everything right." They decided on that, ”the lawyer said.
Also, an expert was interrogated in the court, who studied Kokthely Molotov found with Sergeyev.
