In Moscow, raids on conscripts began. This is reported by human rights activists and student telegram channels.
According to the human rights project “Go Forest”, conscripts are “delivered to the military registration and enlistment offices with the police and apply violence to them”. “They said that he was wanted for two years, although he did not undergo a physical examination at the military registration and enlistment office and collected medical certificates for a delay. Five or six police officers put on him handcuffs and took him to the military enlistment office. There he submitted to the AGS: it seemed to be accepted, but they took the passport and threatened with a criminal. Then they took it to the assembly point. They took the phone, apparently, they did not let an ambulance when he became ill, ”a familiar conscript told human rights defenders. As the Project press secretary Ivan Chuvilyaev specified the “important stories”, we are talking about four such cases.
Complaints of raids in Moscow in an interview with “important stories” are confirmed by the lawyer of the coalition “Calling Conscience”. According to him, the project received two appeals: in one case, the man was “delivered to the military registration and enlistment office in handcuffs and sent to the assembly point”, in the second, the conscript got the agenda for the medical examination for the next week and left the military enlistment office. “You don’t need to panic, but the conscripts are required to prepare for such a development of events,” he added. Human rights activists updated the instructions for the raids taking into account the latest amendments.
“Previously, if a person was seized on the street and brought to the military registration and enlistment office, they made a decision to call for military service in relation to him, he or his representative could appeal the decision of the commission and the actions of the military registration and enlistment office on the same day, even from a smartphone, after which a person could not continue to try to send into the army. This opportunity is preserved, but now, in addition to the administrative statement of claim, the court must be applied for the application of preliminary protection measures, ”lawyers explain.
Also, the summons began to be distributed to students of full -time departments of metropolitan universities. The telegram channel “Protest MSU” reports that the distribution of the summons began in the dormitory of DAS Moscow State University in the south-west of Moscow: at least 10 students received summons from the duty administrator. The Vyshka clarified that the summons were written out by students born in 2003. In the dormitories of the RSU named after Kosygin and Misis, the summons were also handed out, said DOXA student at MISIS. Dormitory No. 5 of the RSU named after Kosygin and several dormitories of Misis and Das Moscow State University are attached to one military registration and enlistment office on Dmitry Ulyanov Street, 14, building 5.
At the same time, President Putin Dmitry Peskov said that he was not known about the distribution of the summons of Moscow students. “The first time I hear about it,” he commented on the information.
This is not the first time that men in Moscow are forcibly taken into the army. In December last year, several student students of the financial university were taken to the assembly point on Ukreshskaya Street. In November, the police forcibly took the artist Daniil Shershev to the military registration and enlistment office. He was sent to the military unit in Tver for military service. The artist spoke out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And in Samara, the police detained the Libertarian Yegor Besvonov. He was also forcibly delivered to the military registration and enlistment office, where the draft commission decided to send him for military service. On November 28, he left Russia.
