Hundreds of forests and fields burned in the region over the past month - a traditional fire hazardous season has come

In the middle of the week, firefighters had a few work - rainy weather helped. So, on April 19, only one natural fire was recorded in the region, and that small, on four hectares in the Khasan municipal district - this is on the border with China.

“The fact that the weather gave us a respite does not mean that the danger has passed,” said Konstantin Stepanov, head of the regional Ministry of Fores. “According to the experience of past years, it can be expected that the season of spring natural fires will last until mid -May.” And indeed - already on Friday the fire attacked with renewed vigor.

A special fire regime continues in the region. Based on the conditions, people are literally just in the forest and it is forbidden to breed bonfires and set fire to grass - however, this still does not help, the Ministry of Emergencies prescribes administrative protocols in dozens. The people are fading grass and sometimes set fire to the forest. This is necessary, as they say in the Primorsky outback, so that it is more convenient to look for and collect a young fern oxer, it is edible and begins to grow just now, and when it grows, it becomes tough.

In addition, foresters are interested in the forest, oddly enough. You burn the area of ​​the forest fund - and it falls in the cadastral value, turning from business into "Broken". But ash, oak, cedar do not completely fade, and they can be cut down and sold. So you can redeem the ground under the smell - after a while, the plot will be restored, but the first time will be cheap.
