Baza: two young people accused of sabotage in the Kaluga region were charged with a terrorist attack

Vladimir and Mikhail, two young people detained in the case of arson of relay cabinets in the Kaluga region, were charged under an article about a terrorist attack committed by a group of persons (clause “a” part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code). reports Baza .

Two more detainees, Daria and Sergey, are in the case as witnesses, the source of the telegram channel reports.

The young people allegedly also admitted that on April 17 they tried to open the battery cabinet of the traffic light at the Azarovo station. The police found footprints and cigarette butts at the scene, which will be attached to the criminal case.

The detention of Vladimir, Mikhail, Daria and Sergei became known on April 21. According to the telegram channel associated with the security forces, “NO TO Extremism!” they set fire to relay cabinets near the railroad in the Babyninsky district in mid-April.

One of the defendants in the case is a 17-year-old student of the Kaluga College of Law, three more are 18-year-old students of a local technical school.
