The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against a resident of Yekaterinburg, who shouted a child in a hat with the letter Z. This was reported by the Office of the SK in the Sverdlovsk region.

The man is suspected of hooliganism (part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, on April 21, he insulted the schoolboy and shouted at him obscenities because of the cap with the symbol Z. Later the suspect was detained with the help of riot police fighters. The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the presence of reinforcement when detained by the need to "exclude possible armed resistance." Soon, the UK posted a video with an apology of the Yekaterinburg.

The conflict between the detainee and an 11-year-old child occurred at the house on Volgogradskaya Street. The intercom camera on the door of the entrance was captured by the incident. On April 24, several Ural publications were laid out the video. After that, the SK announced the start of the audit due to the conflict, the situation was also commented on by the chairman of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, who instructed to “present him a report” about the results.

The mother of the child told E1.ru that the Yekaterinburger “began to pester” the child because of the hat, “insult”, “tried to grab”. It didn't get into the frame. The boy, according to her, “escaped and escaped”, and then “came home in tears”, because “he was frightened strongly.” The father of the child is a military man and is now fighting in Ukraine, the woman noted.
