Why is the Nevsky police series so similar to the chronicle of current events

Nothing foreshadowed the appearance of the following text. To imagine that, of my own way, I will write about the Nevsky police saga, could only in a state of easy insanity. Nevertheless - I write. And that's why.

Once I got to the Crystal Crystal Crime thriller, and could not stop. This is an incredibly difficult film that cannot be not watched. Discovered the great actor Anton Vasiliev. I decided to find out where he still starred. It turned out, in the series "Nevsky". The struggle of motives did not last long. Interest in Vasiliev defeated the dislike of the cop epics. Here, in fact, the plot begins.

“Nevsky” is not just a series, but a certain subculture. A successful project about six seasons, tough and gloomy, amazes the neophyte like me with a complete inconsistency of the General line of the TV. The language of today's officialdom is the language of the triumph: everything is fine in the country, but it will be even better. The "Nevsky" winning the element bypasses.

When I was only introduced into the series, I hardly distinguished me with crime (especially in civilian clothes) from the object of their titanic struggle. First of all, my lexical stock sparkled the thieves jargon with paints: “cold” - a corpse, “attach legs” - to monitor, “heavy” - a capture group, “tolerated” - an eternal victim, “evening in the hut” - a prison greeting. Bandits and law enforcement officers speak the same language, in the complete and figurative sense of the word. The former divide the city into spheres of influence (in each area their own look), the latter share positions, ranks, money. High contracting parties, including generals and their Moscow bosses, are found on the non -desert Breggs of the Neva.

Sometimes they are not in the wrong thing - with whom it does not happen. The law enforcement officers have been catching mysterious killers for six years, but so far unsuccessfully.

Such is the briefly of the Fabula of the released series, whose number is selected for the number 200. Of course, in this new marvelous world I was not lingered for the secrets of gangster in St. Petersburg. It seemed that in some of the most interesting turns of the plot, the burning truth is smoking. And then the narrative becomes like a chronicle of current events.

There are signs of time in the series - from Covid to import substitution. One of them is directly intriguing. The most frostbitten killer from the "architectorship" community was driven - a musician. What is this: a hint, a tribute to the mainstream, a random coincidence?

Although what is the difference. The image is expressive. The elegant gentleman with a Jesuit grin on the lips and a violin case in his hand is a born killer. The musician works in inspiration, not only for money, but also at the call of the heart.

The sixth season began in April. He starred already in a new era after his beginning. I sympathized with the scriptwriters in advance, they say, what will they do with the number of werewolves in uniform? There Soloviev, a horn of the era, is torn, shouting with a cry: during his entire judicial system, it should be crystal pure. It should, but in the "Nevsky" yet it does not work out. And even on the contrary, the darkness of lawlessness there is thickening from the series to the series.

In the new season, the multi -figure composition of the security forces acquired a dramatic completeness. At one pole - Evgeny Arsenyev. He headed the Nevsky ATS, moiled - raised to the head of the headquarters. There he inherited - headed the commission to combat corruption under the St. Petersburg governor. He pierced again, now he goes to the deputies, and there is no doubt: this will come. Major General Arsenyev roofs everything that moves, buying up houses and factories, sells drugs, including a faded deadly cocaine. And even after all the resignations it does not get tired of repeating: remember, this is my city. He is right - him.

At the other pole - Alexey Fomin, aka Thomas, criminal authority. He was looking at Nevsky, then crumple the whole Peter. Arseniev and Fomin are enemies. But in any of their clashes, the bearer of thieves morality turns out to be a cut above the carrier of the morality of the official one.

Having plunged, I repeat, for the first time in the serial world, I realized what a difficult task it was - to pull the same cat by the tail for six years in a row. In the new season, the cat clearly needs intensive care. The strategic stock of plot and psychological moves strives for zero. But with which the creators of Nevsky were certainly lucky is with casting. Alexander Sayutalin with a sharp, like a scalpel, sees his face in his Arseniev not just absolute, that is, caricature evil, but something else. He is an underground man, a kind of mix Svidrigailov and Smerdyakov. Funny cynicism and a frozen squeamish mask on his face come from there, from the depths.

Dmitry Palamarchuk in the role of Thomas is also good. He was dying twice and resurrected twice, without him the intrigue stages. To play such miracles is the highest aerobatics, but Palamarchuk copes. The criminal authority, always elegant, like a piano, manages to justify his hero even when the script crumbles with a card house.

And now I am returning to Anton Vasiliev, from which I started. Without it, there would be no series. Vasiliev is an individual of Russian cinema. It feels the tragedy of existence. He does not play a simple cop from the outskirts that his hero Pavel Semenov was once, or the head of the criminal investigation department in the central district of Peter, which he became. I am sure: he generally works on top of the text. I already have an idea about the level of scenario thinking of the creators of Nevsky. Vasiliev has a different level.

His topic is “the cold of life”. He is the only honest person in a motley company of law enforcement officers. And all his colleagues know this. Needless to say that it is Major Semenov on false accusations that are planted in the most “crosses”? It is devoted to work, but poorly compatible with the system. Semenov, as Dostoevsky would say, “the soul is read on the face,” and the criminal investigation department needs completely other specialists. I don’t know how the conflict is resolved. But I know for sure: what Vasiliev does in the series “Nevsky” is art.

We are moving towards the apogei. It turns out that the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin liked the series. He even held a creative meeting with the Nevsky team and awarded its individual representatives with departmental medals: “For assistance”. Bastrykin's speech was meaningful. Separately, he noted the “realism of the storyline”: “Thanks to such films, the positive appearance of the officers, the faith and the truth of serving the interests of society and the state is formed.” I decided to clarify whether Vasiliev was awarded.
