The state prosecution requested 12 years in a colony for the ally of Navalny Lilia Chanysheva

The state prosecution was requested for the former head of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Ufa Lilia Chanysheva 12 years in colony, said the director of the FBK Ivan Zhdanov.

Lilia Chanysheva headed the Ufa headquarters of Navalny in 2017-2021. In November 2021, she was detained .

Chanysheva became the first criminal case detained in the criminal case on the creation of an “extremist” community, which was excited against Alexei Navalny and his associates in the fall of 2021.

In the final edition, the accusation of Chanysheva was brought under articles on “calls for extremism”, “creating an extremist community” using an official position and “creating an organization that violates the rights of citizens”.

• In the near future, the trial of Alexei Navalny in the case of "extremism" is expected. On April 26, the Moscow Basmanny Court ordered him to get acquainted with the materials of the case, which number 196 volumes within 10 days. Politics are accused under articles on the “Organization of the extremist community” and “financing of extremist activity”.
• Navalny also said that the case of “terrorism” was allocated for separate production, according to which he can be sentenced to life imprisonment.
