Jehovah's Witness Nikolai Voishchev does not receive the necessary treatment in a pre-trial detention center. This is reported by a portal covering the persecution of believers.
The criminal case against Voishchev became known in October 2022. Then searches were carried out in at least three houses of believers from Maykop, and Voishchev himself was sent to a pre-trial detention center. Later, information appeared that the man was being persecuted under the article on organizing the activities of an extremist organization (Part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
The Jehovah's Witnesses portal writes that in February the man was examined at a regional hospital due to serious illnesses. He was prescribed treatment, access to which is currently not provided to the man by the administration of the pre-trial detention center.
Also, according to the information available to believers, no letters were issued to Voishchev from the moment he was taken into custody until March.
