On the morning of May 3, a tank with oil products caught fire in the village of Volna, Krasnodar Territory, as a result of a drone crash, TASS reports citing emergency services. The message about the fire was also confirmed by the governor of the region Veniamin Kondratyev.
“The fire is serious, in order to localize it, they use a foam attack,” he wrote on his Telegram channel. At the same time, Kondratiev denied reports about the beginning of the evacuation of the residents of the village.
On the same day, Baza reported that Ukrainian drones had attacked a military airfield in the Bryansk region. According to the Telegram channel, at least two of them exploded on its territory, as a result of which the An-124 transport aircraft, which is not in operation, received minor damage. Two more drones were allegedly destroyed by small arms fire, and the fifth was not found, Baza claims.
The authorities of the region did not comment on these reports in any way, and nothing is known about the victims. This is at least the fifth attack on targets behind Russian lines in three days.
The night before, there was an explosion near the Snezhetskaya station, not far from Bryansk. This was announced by the Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz. According to him, as a result, the locomotive and several wagons of the freight train went off the rails, no one was injured.
The day before, there was also an explosion on the 136th kilometer of the Bryansk-Unecha railway, as a result of which two locomotives and seven wagons of a train carrying fuel derailed. There were no casualties.
Also on May 1, unidentified people blew up a power line pylon in the Gatchina district of the Leningrad region. Fontanka later reported that three explosive devices with electronic timers were found near the explosion site. One was on a fallen support, and two more with explosives weighing about 300 and 600 grams were allegedly removed from a nearby support.
