A criminal case was opened against the director of “Seventh Studio” Evgenia Berkovich under the article on “justification of terrorism”

The director of the "Seventh Studio" Yevgenia Berkovich became a defendant in a criminal case under the article on "justifying terrorism." Berkovich's mother Elena Efros wrote about this on her Facebook.

According to her, the reason for initiating a criminal case was Berkovich's play Finist Yasny Sokol. According to OVD-Info, the production tells about the girls "who decided to virtually marry representatives of radical Islam and go to them in Syria."

As Efros wrote, the security forces came to her house. In turn, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Boris Vishnevsky said that the search also took place in the apartment of Berkovich's grandmother, 88-year-old writer and human rights activist Nina Katerli.

Presumably, with the searches, they also came to the house of Berkovich herself in Moscow. According to the RusNews telegram channel, she was detained, but this information cannot be confirmed, since Berkovich does not get in touch.
