The authorities of the Rostov region confirmed that on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant (NNZP) was attacked.

“Tonight in the area of ​​the village of Kiselevka, Krasnosulinsky district at the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant, an unmanned aerial vehicle crashed into the structures of the inter -storage vehicle of the plant, after which it exploded. The fire that arose as a result of the explosion was immediately extinguished, ”said the governor. According to the governor, there are no victims and destruction, the damage to the enterprise was caused a minimum.

This is the second attack on the oil refinery, which is located five kilometers from the official border of Russia with Ukraine. For the first time, drones flew to the territory of NNZP on June 22, 2022. One of them damaged the "technological equipment". An explosion and a fire occurred due to the "depressurization of air cooling devices and the release of carbon gas." The second hit the tanks with raw oil, but the fire did not occur. The authorities promised that the consequences of the attack would be eliminated by April, and, apparently, coped with the task.

In 2013, NNZP was built by the Rostov businessman Sergei Kislov, who earned a fortune in the 90s in grain trade and owning the brand of sunflower oil "Golden Seed". The capacity of the enterprise for processing raw oil, according to official figures, amounts to 5 million tons per year. The enterprise produces gasoline, including export -running export (NAFTA), stove, ship and diesel fuel, as well as furnace fuel oil. The factory operates a line for the production of road bitumen with a capacity of 700 thousand tons per year.

In 2019, Radio Liberty found that after the events of 2014, Kislov began to lose control of the enterprise, which was on the border with the occupied territories and became the main supplier of fuel there. Later, Project confirmed that the oil industry in Novoshakhtinsk was transferred to the wife of the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk Oksana Marchenko through a number of Cyprus offshores.

In 2021, Medvedchuk, who is called the Kum of Vladimir Putin, was suspected of treason. At the time of the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine, the leader of the Opposition Platform - for Life party was under house arrest. In the turmoil of war, he managed to escape, but in April he was captured. After interrogations, the special services of the former deputy were exchanged for 215 prisoners of Azovstali.

Viktor Medvedchuk is deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. In February 2023, he told Russian journalists that he was living in Moscow. There, presumably, there are children and the third wife of politics, TV presenter Oksana Marchenko.

Spouses never disputed information about involvement in the purchase of a large oil asset in Russia.

In 2021, the owner officially replaced NNZP. He became the owner and general director of the Ufa NIP NG "Poton" Igor Mnushkin. The media call Poton one Gazprom's largest contractors. By order of the state monopoly, for example, he built the Amur gas processing plant on the border with China. The amount of resale of the Novoshakhtinsky plant, as in the case of Marchenko, was not called. But at the time of the transaction, the revenue of NNZP was 147 billion a year, and the net profit in 2019 - 3.6 billion rubles. While Mnushkin’s largest asset, Paton, according to Spark-Interfax, in 2019 earned only 130 million rubles, and the second largest asset-NPP Technoproject LLC-only 753 thousand rubles.

But, as the journalists of the “schemes” found out, Oksana Marchenko continues to own the NZNP Trade company, which owns the right to oil production at the Gavrikovsky deposit in the Khanty-Mansi district and which is associated with NNZP through mutual schemes of ownership. The competition, as a result of which the company acquired the right to oil production, journalists call it doubtful.

Since 2015, information about the final owners of NNZP has been hidden in the Russian state registers. According to the SPARK system, in 2021 the profit of the enterprise after paying all taxes exceeded 3 billion rubles. Since 2014, the company has been on the sanctions lists of Ukraine.

Over the past day in Russia, at least two more attacks of drones took place in large warehouses of the fuel and lubricants. On the night of May 3, a tank with fuel caught fire in Taman, a fire raged for more than 20 hours on an area of ​​1,200 square meters. It was necessary to extinguish it with the forces of five fire engines. And on Thursday night, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery, it is located 30 kilometers west of Krasnodar. As a result of the impact of the drone, one of the fuel containers caught fire. According to the press service of the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, by six in the morning of Thursday the fire managed to completely extinguish.
