In St. Petersburg, the security forces detained Vitaly Ioffe and another activist because of single pickets in support of the defendant of the “anti-war case” by Olga Smirnova. This was announced by lawyer Sergey Podolsky, who cooperates with the ATS-Info. He went after the activists to the police department.

Activists went into pickets at the Akademicheskaya metro station. Ioffe held in his hands a poster “Olga Smirnova for a year in a pre -trial detention center for a civil position!”. The detainees were taken to OP No. 6.

22:15, Sergey Podolsky’s lawyer refuses to let the detainees in the police department No. 6. Ioffe and the second detainee were locked in the duty unit, they took fingerprints from them.

• Olga Smirnovais accused under an article on Fakes about the Russian army based on political hatred (part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). The case was opened because of the seven posts on the “peaceful resistance” page published on VKontakte in March 2022. Smirnov was taken into custody , the case is already being considered in court.
