Five wagons of a freight train derailed at the Kamarchaga-Balay stretch in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported by the press service of the Krasnoyarsk railway.
There were no casualties, and the cause of the incident is under investigation. Recovery trains were sent to the accident site from Krasnoyarsk and Sayanskaya stations, the press service said. Due to the incident, delays in trains and long-distance trains are possible.
On the morning of May 18, the pro-Russian head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced the derailment of wagons with grain in the Simferopol region. There were also no casualties. According to the telegram channel Baza, an explosion occurred on the railways near Bakhchisarai. This information was later confirmed by RIA Novosti.
On April 9, nine wagons loaded with coal also derailed at the Krasnoyarsk-Vostochny station, Interfax reported.
