
More than a thousand Russian recruiting Russians are waiting for a decision to provide political asylum in Finland. The authorities of the country are waiting for the instructions of the European Union in the matter of their future fate. This was reported on Thursday by the National Information Agency Yle.
According to the migration service, in Finland there are now 1109 Russians who escaped from the draft and requested asylum. The head of the Migration Department of the Finnish Foreign Ministry Santer told reporters that the authorities have not yet been able to make decisions to provide such guarantees.
The data on when the EU can give Finland and other countries of Northern Europe a recommendation of what to do with Russian recruiting Russian men who have arrived there, so far, Yle notes.
