Why did Russian propaganda talk about the victory of Ukraine

On the Western Front - for Russia it is Western - without change. Almost on the remark. And the bombing continues, and air anxiety throughout Ukraine, and the defenders and aggressors are dying. But something has changed in the air. Fifteen months are February, and then it seemed to smell it.

The West gives weapons. Not everything, probably, what would be needed, but clearly more than before, constantly going after the same flags for themselves. Already F-16 fighters are becoming a reality. During his last trip to Europe, Zelensky was already spoke simply as with the winner - he has not yet won, but he would win inevitably.

Ukraine knocks more and more missiles and aircraft. And above his sky - even “fundamentally unbearable” “daggers” - and over Russian. In Bryansk, four aircraft at a time (Ukrainians, it seems, also say that they are not them - therefore, the Martians allied to them).

The attacks of drones and other flying to Russian objects no longer surprise anyone. They just go among the news.

The halo of the winning now emanating from Ukraine and Ukrainians is the necessary condition for their victory in the most difficult war, which they conduct with the enemy that is superior in number and economic potential, which is indifferent not only of them, but also their losses - women still give birth. I think that the weapon went faster precisely because of this anticipation of victory-the winner, albeit potential, causes sympathy and the desire to be near him. God give them - they not only fight for themselves, but also for the whole world, including for us - in their victory a chance for our liberation.

But there is a danger. Our assessment of any situation is determined not by absolute values, but by the ratio of reality (or what seems to us to reality) with our expectations. It was expected, for example, that everything would disappear from the shelves, but it did not disappear, it became just worse - everything is fine, everyone was happy. They thought, without guilt, they would never put him in prison for anything, but did not put them, but only fined (also for nothing, notice) - happiness. They thought they would add a salary by twenty percent, and added only ten - robbed. In this case, the same thing. If people are tuning to the fact that Ukraine will free the Crimea with a lightning strike, and it will “only” cut the ground corridor, then there will be disappointment inevitable. I don’t know what can be the consequences of such disappointment in Ukraine itself (or there people look at the situation of affairs adequately, and therefore there will be no disappointment), but in the West it can be expressed in fatigue, in the desire not to approach Ukraine, as it is now, but, on the contrary, distance from it. And such moods among voters will inevitably strengthen the positions of various demagogues or just near -minded people (and there are no less among politicians than among “ordinary citizens”), who will begin to be called to think, finally, not about Ukraine, and not to interfere with the affairs of the former empire, going at the risk of nuclear war.

True, President Zelensky seems to be aware of this danger. In any case, he repeatedly warned against high expectations. But everyone wants to believe.

The moral rise among the allies of Ukraine is completely explained. But a mystery looks an obvious panic among Z-patriots in Russia. Panic sentiments, just as well as it, just like at one time, without justifying the promises of a slight victory, they also give out the so -called military commissars, and even the grandios of Russian propaganda. On TV! And Ukrainians are shot down by Russian planes directly by squadrons, and if it goes on, we will lose (of course, lose, but before you were silent about it).

I have not a political science explanation of this riddle at all. The point is the essence of this war - the truth is on the side of the Ukrainians. As once, after June 22, 1941, she was on the side of the USSR, despite the obvious fact that Stalin was no less villain than Hitler. But Soviet soldiers, including the ancestors of today's APU fighters, defended their homeland, and German, among whom were different people, including good ones, came as invaders and aggressors.

And therefore, in particular, then, and then such wonderful songs were stacked about that period, not bravuras, but human, and the whole country sang them. And Germany has no such songs about those years, they did not work out. And now we will not have such songs about the current war. And not because the authors are not enough, but because today we are the Nazis, and the Russian state can create nothing but the video with this wretched shaman. And the Ukrainians have wonderful songs about this war, that is, about people in this war, there will already be many, but there will be even more.

And I think that this truth of Ukrainians is visible to anyone who visited the front or, like the Russian “military commissar”, next to the front. And the understanding of this truth leads to a feeling of inevitability of defeat and to the fear that the screen breaks now, to hysterical calls to finally do something. Not in the combat power of the weapon supplied by the West here is a matter, not in the obsolete character and our lack, but in the understanding that for whom it is true, for that power.

From the part of the Ukrainians, the rage is noble, and with the Russian - nothing but anger, hatred of life and resentment throughout the world. You will not win this.

Yes, no one is going to win. Putin declared war on the eternal and natural state of the country. He has not been talking about the deadlines of victory for a long time, or about what she, in fact, will consist. And the “frontmen” of the war - Kadyrov, Medvedev, Prigozhin and others - do not contribute to the fact that victory becomes desirable for a normal person. People do not want to live under the power of Kadyrov or according to Prigozhin’s concepts, do not want to realize the vague fantasies of Medvedev, do not want a triumph of bandits and crazy people. And therefore, when the Ukrainians win, the people will not have any depression, and there will only be a relief that all this finally ended. And there will be no support of war or Putin.
