However, the son of one of the mothers told her that they were sent to Valuyki - this is 15 kilometers from the border with Ukraine - where they immediately fell under fire and "lay in the trenches" 30 meters from the funnels of the shells. By the fall of 2022, Valuyki, according to official figures, fired at least 15 times, three people died.

The investigation notes that conscripts are also closer to the border than the border guards and the Rosgvardis, who patrol the perimeter. Drawers live in dugouts, dig trenches, fall under shelling and receive injuries, go to outfits and carry guard like border guards.
