A resident of Norilsk was arrested for 7 days for "derogatory posts" about the army of the Russian Federation

The court arrested a resident of Norilsk Sergey Kurilenko for seven days in an administrative case on the initiation of hostility and hatred. Attention to the message of the city court was paid attention to the publication Taiga.info.

According to the court, in 2022, Kurilenko published on Facebook posts containing "derogatory statements to groups of persons in their belonging to social groups." The publications spoke of the Russian military participating in the occupation of Ukraine, as well as their mothers. Kurilenko pleaded guilty and explained that he had made publications in order to support relatives living in Ukraine. The social networks of Facebook and Instagram are blocked in Russia after recognition by META with an extremist organization.

According to the prosecutor's office, Kurilenko quit his job and sold an apartment in Norilsk, intending to fly away from the city. In the future, he was going to consider moving to Ukraine.
