The Russian armed formation of the PMC "Wagner" lost about 20 thousand people in the battles for Bakhmut. This was stated by the creator of the group Evgeny Prigozhin in an interview with the political region Konstantin Dolgova.

According to Prigozhin, 10 thousand dead are the so -called personnel employees of the Wagner PMC, the other 10 thousand are prisoners recruited in the colonies.

There is no official confirmation of these data - the Russian authorities do not disclose the real losses of the armed forces controlled by the Ministry of Defense, not to mention the mercenaries of the "Vagnerians".

Evgeny Prigozhin, who repeatedly criticized the Russian military command and officials, made several sharp statements about Russia's actions in Ukraine.
