The entry of units (so far, as far as is known to the reinforced company) of the Ukrainian special forces (and the RDK and the "Free Russia Legion" - part of the foreign corps in the subordination of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine) to the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation showed that:
1. You can just drive to the Russian checkpoint on a large highway on the border with the country with which there is a war on light armored vehicles, shoot it, capture military personnel and equipment, and then drive a dozen km. deeper in Russia, in the end to the district center.
2. There will be no serious resistance to this during at least three or four hours. Since the border coverage parts, even in the most dangerous directions (and Graivoronovsky district is surrounded by Ukrainian territory from three sides), simply is not.
3. There is neither trenches along the border, nor the positions of the Petlows and gunners on the nearest hills, but also the means of passive resistance (concrete "dragon's teeth") are placed on the highway so that it would be convenient to travel around them (and drivers of the enemy armored vehicles).
4. The only means of operational response from the Russian side is only outdated helicopters - and if the APU on its side of the border pulled powerful air defense, then over the past day the losses of the Russian Air Force would have been in the Belgorod region more than one helicopter, but five.
5. In this regard, it can be assumed that if not a reinforced company, but a full -fledged brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, would have entered the Graivoron district, then it would be quite likely to have a chance to reach Belgorod.
6. In any case, everything is much worse/better than it could be assumed. This example demonstrates that the Russian Federation has no reserves in the border areas and weak ones - in the operational depth, which means that residents of all regional regions of the Russian Federation are in direct danger and must be evacuated without fail.
