As an excuse for war, it became an end in itself for the Kremlin

A resident of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Ivan Chistyakov during a feast attacked two acquaintances with a knife who "discredited the Russian army." Chistyakova, who inflicted a series of blows to both victims, sentenced to two years and four months a colony of general regime. As a mitigating circumstances, the judge referred to the “illegal actions” of the victims. At the same time, both victims of Chistyakov went to the hospital with fines for “discrediting”. Their fault consisted in the fact that, with another witness, they "negatively spoke out about their and Russian -speaking population."

To beat the doubts in the war with a knife is still not officially encouraged, but the courts already soften the sentences on this basis.

Those who support the bloody massacre unleashed by Vladimir Putin have more rights than other Russian citizens.

For stubborn, not only knives were prepared, but also a direct defeat in rights: from the status of a foreign agent, which is now scary, up to 15 years in prison for discrediting Wagner mercenaries or mentioning buchi.

The case of Chistyakov and other legal conflicts, such as the legalization of the export of prisoners to the front, suggests that a new legal procedure is developing in the Russian Federation de facto. In it, participation in an aggressive war or its justification is considered the highest value, a model to which both the norms of law and law -abiding citizens should strive. War is not only the absolute value of the state of the Russian Federation, but also its itself, against which any calls to the world, humanism or, God forbid, critical thinking are inappropriate.

Formally, the Russian law, by inertia, continues to declare the priority of human rights, which, due to the shortage of Bastrykin and the head of the Ministry of Justice of Chuychenko, is still enshrined in the constitution. But creative lawyers, specially selected, for example, to the Presidential HRC, already explain what kind of person we are talking about. The Russian Federation prefers the rights of the Russian -speaking population and strictly in foreign jurisdictions, and, as you know, shells and missiles are selected by protection. Russian -speaking rights are considered completely wealthy when their city was equal to the land, as a “liberated Bakhmut”.

In parallel, law enforcement and lawmaking move on. Any norm of law or sentence useful for warfare is declared good. The last example: the State Duma considers the law according to which citizens will be fined and put for 15 days for “cards disputing the territorial integrity of Russia,” that is, for example, demonstrating the international recognized boundaries of the country. The deputies do not claim common sense: despite the fact that even Dmitry Peskov cannot name the exact current boundaries of the Russian Federation, it is still useful to punish citizens for topographic disloyalty (the scene from the future: Zorkin tries to bring Putin the ancient map of the Russian Federation in 1991, on which there is no Crimea, but is in a catalage).

There are many historical examples when the right was subordinated to ideology.

It is enough to recall the Stalin's 58th article legalizing criminal prosecution and physical elimination of any critics of the Bolsheviks,

Or Nazi criminal courts in which the will of the Fuhrer was declared the highest legal norm. Such legal systems usually have an inglorious end. On the next bunker or monument of the defeated leader, a foreign soldier or his own people, who dropped crazy laws, is dancing.

But even against this historical background, the new Russian law looks unprecedented. The war as the highest value, on the guard of which the law stands, was introduced more or less by accident. If Vladimir Putin during the pandemic Covid-19 was fond of not the historical fate of Eurasia, but with stamps or golf (what happiness would be, what a sweet and pleasant hobby for a dictator with experience), the laws of the Russian Federation could just as successfully introduce the death penalty for attempt on the collection of philatelists or specially prepared lawns. At the whim of the leader, it is the war that is declared the main meaning of the existence of the Russian Federation.

This is one Putin's “elite”: from the same chairman of the constitutional court Zorkin to the head of the local cell “United Russia”. They received an order to become cannibals and draw into this business as many other people around them as possible.

The uniqueness of the situation is that the legal system of the Russian Federation protects not people, but the law of the state to an aggressive war, and does it without any clear plan. The meaning of the war and its goals have long been lost, if they were ever formulated clearly in principle. No “ideological Putinism” also exists in nature, it is simply impossible to state it on paper, despite the very talented attempts of Western analysts “understand Putin’s mysterious soul” in Dugin's texts. The Communists and even the Nazis, as they could, explained for themselves the need to destroy their enemies; In the case of the Russian Federation, random scraps of phrases (“Russians ...”, “NATO offends ...”, “All the Nazis ...”, “And Satanism ...”) become the basis for massacre. But the war, in fact, will take it to the war, erected to the level of the state apparatus, everyone should swear allegiance without asking unnecessary questions.

Cynic will say that the Russian Federation is now an extremely interesting subject for scientific research.

Can there be a society where the ideas about good and evil have changed places?

Can parents educate children, explaining to them: the main meaning of their future life is to die in a war on a foreign land? Can Prigozhin, Kadyrov and “military commissar” become a model, moral ideal and role example for an entire country? Is it possible to arrange everything so that for the sake of the so -called people will forget about compassion, interest in “unfriendly cultures and languages” and will accept the murder as a new norm?

A special case of these issues is the fate of the Russian elections, the closest of which will be held in September. The chairman of the CEC Ella Pamfilova, a former liberal politician, and now an official, who calls for breaking the “fifth column” of traitors within the country, approved the logo of a single voting day of 2023. They will be the literal V in the colors of the Russian tricolor, and, according to the CEC, the logo should indicate the unity of Russian political forces in supporting the war.

Probably, candidates and parties who do not support the murders of Ukrainians can be removed from participation in “democratic procedures” simply because

Support for war is a more fundamental duty of citizens of the Russian Federation in comparison with passive suffrage.

Formally, the main event of the September elections will be a new nomination for its post of mayor of Moscow Sobyanin, and the same principle works here. Sobyanin, who was not actively enjoyed by the war, and was silent more and only once under the cameras drank tea with people in camouflage, was now punished by nomination from United Russia. This party is not in great demand in the capital and before the mayor preferred to play the role of self -nominated. But liberalism and special conditions for Moscow are over: now Sobyanin will agitate citizens on behalf of the party of war criminals. And citizens who will be brought to the plots to vote for improvement, allowances to pensions and bike paths will be offered to divide the responsibility for the course of the “ruling party” in the load. Moscow will be good further right on the blood.
