FSB detained two citizens of Ukraine

The FSB announced the detention of two citizens of Ukraine, who, before Victory Day, allegedly planned to undermine more than 30 power lines at the Leningrad and Kalinin nuclear power plants, writes RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the department.

The service reported that she detained the 45-year-old citizen of Ukraine Alexander Maistruk, a 41-year-old citizen of Ukraine Eduard Usatenko, as well as two unnamed Russian citizens. The FSB claims that Russian citizens allegedly "provided Ukrainian militants with means of communication and vehicles with fake numbers."

RIA Novosti writes that another person, 60-year-old Yuri Kishcheak, who has citizenship of Ukraine and Russia, but lives in Belgium, has been put on the wanted list. For sabotage, several Ukrainians allegedly crossed the Russian-Belarusian border in the Pskov region, in Belarus they came from Ukraine through Poland, the agency writes.

The department specified that in the end, citizens of Ukraine blew up one and mined four supports of the power lines of the Leningrad NPP, and also laid explosives under seven supports of the Kalinin nuclear power plant.
