How many drones that attacked Moscow really were on May 30?

Medusa collected and analyzed all available objective data (and applied them to an interactive card)

On the morning of May 30, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were seen at several points in Moscow and the Moscow region. Which UAVs were used to attack, it is definitely unclear; Some of them are outwardly similar to the Ukrainian brews-Kamikadze Bober . Part of the BPL Russian air defense forces managed to knock down, others got into residential buildings; There are no dead. The total number of drones attacked Moscow is unknown: the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claims eight devices, sources of pro -government media - about 10 or even 25 devices. Medusa collected everything that is known about the number of drones and places of their fall, based on objective data - that is, photographs and videos. As of 19:00 MSC Medusa, it was possible to find objective certificates for the following attacks of drones in Moscow and the Moscow Region on May 30:

1. Moscow, Moskovsky settlement, Atlasova street 11 . The apparatus crashed into the wall of the attic building of a multi -storey residential building, the locals found the wreckage of the drone in the yard. There is no video of the moment of the explosion in open sources. The device struck the gap in the wall; The apartment, located below the place of collision, practically did not suffer. 2. Moscow, Leninsky Prospekt, 92 building 2 . The unmanned vehicle broke through the balcony glazing and flew into the apartment. The ammunition of the apparatus did not detonate (according to the Prochrevsky telegram channel Shot, it is he who is depicted here ). On the frames from the place you can see the remains of the plumage of the apparatus. The pro -government tabloid Mash claims that girls live in the apartment who did not notice the drone. 3. Moscow, st. Trade union 98, building 6 . The drone fell in the courtyard of the new building. It is reported that part of the device was found in the apartment on the 16th floor, in the video the fragments of a small aircraft are visible from the place. Video: 1 , 2 .

4. Ilyinskaya floodplain, cottage village "Ilyinka". At least one drone flew in this area and was shot down, which was removed from many points:

• the moment of the flight of the apparatus over Ilyinka from Usovo and Zhukovka to the northeast;
• The flight above the same place from the other point in Ilyinka.
• The moment of launching the anti-aircraft missile by the Russian installation "Pampler-C1", based at the place of departure from the Baltic construction market on the Novorizhskoye Shosse. The distance between the location of the air defense installation and the place of the drone span over the cottage village is less than two and a half kilometers. The rocket goes to the southeast.
• The moment of the fall and explosion of the drone in the Ilyinsky floodplain near the place of shooting his span. The shooting point is in one of the cottages of the same Ilyinka.
• The same explosion was removed from a more remote point - from the house of 6K1 in the cottage village "Rublevsky suburbs". The moment of the fall of the apparatus on the field was in the frame.
• After a few seconds, the cloud of the same explosion was photographed from the house at the western tip of the same cottage village.

5. Triangle Barvikha - Morishkovo - Ilyinskoye . In social networks there were video recording of the cloud of smoke after an explosion in the air. This event is probably the moment when the drone was shot down-it can be connected both with the apparatus shot down over the Ilyinsky floodplain, which is mentioned above and with some other UAVs. One video was made from the house on the main street in Romashkovo in the direction of Ilyinskoye, the second in the Kutuzovsky microdistrict in the same direction. On both there is no moment in the explosion, so it is impossible to reliably identify whether the visible cloud of smoke is that it rose above the Ilyinsky floodplain as a result of the fall of the first apparatus.

Bonus. Unknown location. The video shot the moment of destruction of the drone in the sky above the cottage village. Enthusiasts who are engaged in gelocation have not yet been able to find a place for shooting, but it can be accurate that this shooting does not coincide with any of the other geolocied devices. Perhaps it was this drone who was shot down in the triangle of Barvikha - Morishkovo -Ilyinskoye - and then it was his cloud of explosion that was recorded on the two videos mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Results

Thus, in the minimum scenario we can talk about five devices (if in the triangle of Barvikha - Morvikhovo -Ilyinskoye there was only one UAV, which was removed from eight points at once). In the maximum scenario - about seven drones (if there were two of them over Ilyinsky, and the device with a not yet geoloced video was shot down in a completely different place).

We could not find other documentary evidence of the devices shot down over Moscow or falling into the city and its environs. This, however, does not mean that they really were not-some of the UAVs could not get on the camera.

Not confirmed by the evidence of the application

• The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that eight drives of aircraft type were shot down. “Three of them were suppressed by electronic warfare means, lost control and deviated from the intended goals. Five more unmanned aerial vehicles are knocked down by the shell-s anti-aircraft missile system in the suburbs, ”RIA Novosti quotes the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
• In the attack, according to the Prochrevsky tabloid Baza , about 25 drones were involved - most of them were allegedly shot down in the suburbs, some of the drones caught on trees and wires, as they flew at over -high altitude. Three drones crashed into residential buildings, but one of them did not detonate ammunition.
• Sources of RBC reported that 10 drones were shot down. According to one of the interlocutors of the publication, the drones shot down in the Odintsovo, Istra and Krasnogorsk districts of the Moscow Region, according to the second, two more apparatus was put on the territory of New Moscow.
