The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all eight drones participated in the raid were shot down. Five of them were destroyed by the shells-s anti-aircraft complexes in the suburbs, and three more were neutralized using electronic warfare systems. However, the journalists of the BAZ TG channel claim that up to 25 UAVs were involved in the attack.
One of the drones crashed into a 25-story house on Atlasov Street in New Moscow. The glass is knocked out on several floors, and the concrete floor slab is also damaged.
The second drone broke glass on the 16th floor of a residential building on the Profsoyuznaya Street. This drone is an unexploded Kumulative charge of KZ-6, capable of punching steel and reinforced concrete slabs and walls.
The third hit the apartment of a high -rise building on Leninsky Prospekt. He also had on board the KZ-6 non-working charges. As a result, the authorities had to evacuate about 300 inhabitants. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, two people turned to medical help on the spot. In the suburbs, the explosions were heard in the area of the cities of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk, as well as near the Novorizh and Rublevo-Uspensky highway.
In the capital of Russia, satellite navigation devices worked poorly during the attack. Apparently, the UAV tried to knock down from the course using electronic warfare systems.
When raid, new types of UAVs could be used. The Mash TG channel reports that in one of the drones whose flight was shot on the video above the village of Petrovo-Daln in the area of the Rublevo-Uspensky highway, experts identified the substantially modified Ukrainian apparatus of the A-2 Sinitsya. The drone has large dimensions, and the internal combustion engine instead of the electric, which, obviously, significantly increases the radius of its action, which initially amounted to 100 km. They develop such UAVs in Kharkov.
The head of the ANO “Center for the Development of Transport Technologies” Alexei Rogozin (son of Dmitry Rogozin) wrote in his TG channel that previously unknown drones of the aircraft type with the aerodynamic scheme “duck” (with wings in the back of the device) were used to attack Moscow. Such UAVs, according to Rogozin, were used in the attack on Krasnodar a few days ago. “The power plant is with an internal combustion engine, a wing scale of at least 4 meters and a theoretical range from 400 to 1000 km,” Rogozin wrote. - The cost can be estimated in the amount of $ 30-200 thousand [for] each device. The radio electronic suppuivors of the drones for such devices are generally useless, the only way to counteract them is to beat. ”
“More than two dozen drones took part in the attack. One of the modifications of the Ukrget manufactured by UJ-22 Airborne was used, the new-European instructor, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reserve, Roman Svitan, told Roman Svitan. - A new model of aircraft type with similar characteristics could also be applied. I am convinced that the goal of the attack was Moscow and Moscow Region enterprises of the military-industrial complex. They are located both in the Russian capital itself and in many of its satellite cities. There are rockets that Russians beat around Ukraine. ”
According to Roman Svitan, Ukraine many months ago put the production of drones with a small cost and currently produces them in commodity quantities. So the next time you can wait for an attack of a whole wave, consisting of dozens of deadly flying devices. This will be done in order to overload Russian air defense and force it to skip a large number of ammunition to the goal.
“A similar drone in Kamikaze mode carries up to 1.5 thousand kilometers up to 20 kilograms of explosives, which is quite enough to defeat poorly fortified targets, such as fuel storage or warehouses of combustible ammunition components, as has already occurred in various regions of Russia,” Svitan continues the story. - You can let these drones out of the deep Ukrainian rear.
Despite a low speed of 100-150 km/h, they can evade radars and go around the areas of the Russian air defense systems. ”
The former police expert Sergey MIGLA, the former police officer and special services of Israel, also agreed with the fact that the UJ-22 Airborne was used to attack with a high probability. “As far as it is known, in Ukraine today, drones are also being developed, but this time, judging by the frames and photographs I saw, it is about Airborne,” says our interlocutor. “This model has a very recognizable silhouette.”
According to Roman Svitan, entering residential buildings may be the result of both the work of Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems and natural factors. For example, the drone can change the trajectory and height under the influence of strong gusts of wind. In addition, Svatan says that it is extremely difficult to take into account each building standing in the path of drone. Especially when flying at ultra -small heights, which passes almost between buildings.
Military expert Sergei Midal is sure that the Russian strategic air defense is not adapted to detect and destroy targets such as drones. The problem is that radars are very poorly “see” by such air objects created, as a rule, from composite plastic and having not many metal parts in the structure. For their effective detection, numerous observation posts are required, which acts in the optical and sound method. Since Moscow is a huge metropolis, it is reliable to cover it from the air in this way - an almost impossible task.
“The ZRPK (anti-aircraft missile-gun complex)“ shell ”, capable of hitting drones is already in the immediate vicinity of their goal,” adds Sergei Migdal to fight such goals. “In such a situation nearby, both fragments of a knocked down device and its unexploded combat part can fall.”
Roman Svitan is convinced that the Russian air defense systems installed in the center of Moscow carry more threats to the civilian population than the attacking drones themselves. After all, their radius of action is several tens of kilometers, and shells and missiles that have gone “into milk” as a result with a high probability themselves will fall into residential quarters. “The anti -items of many air defense systems are filled with tens of thousands of damaging elements,” explains Roman Svitan. - The consequences of the explosion of such shells are clearly visible in places that Russia fired at the air defense system in the "Earth - Earth" mode. These are extremely dangerous types of weapons. Especially for those who have not had time to hide. ”
Sergei Migdal agrees that air defense systems may be dangerous for the most defending side. The expert gives an example of the Israeli Iron Dome system: the fragments of the anti -throat, knocking down the attacking shells, sometimes fall on the streets of settlements.
A source of Novo-Europe in the Russian Armed Forces said that at least two drones were shot down near the Rublevo-Uspensky Highway, where the houses of the Russian elite, not far, less than ten kilometers are located, is also the residence of Vladimir Putin in Novo-Ogarsky. “One drone managed to intercept over the village of Funkovo near Zvenigorod,” the interlocutor says. -The second flew to the village of Petrovo-Dalno, from where literally a few kilometers to the Putin house.
How this Copter was able to overcome all our lines of defense is unknown. It is this territory that is protected no less seriously than the Moscow Kremlin. ”
Sergei Migdal is sure that the attacking side set itself the task of performing primarily a psychological impact on persons who make the most important decisions in Russia. “As a result, many officials and security forces managed to strain, to bring confusion into their ranks,” the Israeli expert explains his position. - For this, the action was carried out in the daytime, so that people could see and hear flying devices. In fact, a statement has been made: there is no one who would be completely inaccessible to Ukraine. If the attack were sent to the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, then the damage would probably be insignificant. But the blow to the ruble has an important media value. And although the Russian media are trying not to very widely discuss such attacks, the people living in elite villages are already panic. ”
