The head of the ANO “Center for the Development of Transport Technologies” Alexei Rogozin (son of Dmitry Rogozin) wrote in his TG channel that previously unknown drones of the aircraft type with the aerodynamic scheme “duck” (with wings in the back of the device) were used to attack Moscow. Such UAVs, according to Rogozin, were used in the attack on Krasnodar a few days ago. “The power plant is with an internal combustion engine, a wing scale of at least 4 meters and a theoretical range from 400 to 1000 km,” Rogozin wrote. - The cost can be estimated in the amount of $ 30-200 thousand [for] each device. “More than two dozen drones took part in the attack. According to Roman Svitan, Ukraine many months ago put the production of drones with a small cost and currently produces them in commodity quantities. This will be done in order to overload Russian air defense and force it to skip a large number of ammunition to the goal.

“A similar drone in Kamikaze mode carries up to 1.5 thousand kilometers up to 20 kilograms of explosives, which is quite enough to defeat poorly fortified targets, such as fuel storage or warehouses of combustible ammunition components, as has already occurred in various regions of Russia,” Svitan continues the story. - You can let these drones out of the deep Ukrainian rear.

Despite a low speed of 100-150 km/h, they can evade radars and go around the areas of the Russian air defense systems. ”

The former police expert Sergey MIGLA, the former police officer and special services of Israel, also agreed with the fact that the UJ-22 Airborne was used to attack with a high probability. “As far as it is known, in Ukraine today, drones are also being developed, but this time, judging by the frames and photographs I saw, it is about Airborne,” says our interlocutor. “This model has a very recognizable silhouette.”

According to Roman Svitan, entering residential buildings may be the result of both the work of Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems and natural factors. For example, the drone can change the trajectory and height under the influence of strong gusts of wind. In addition, Svatan says that it is extremely difficult to take into account each building standing in the path of drone. Especially when flying at ultra -small heights, which passes almost between buildings.

Defense is more dangerous than an attack

Military expert Sergei Midal is sure that the Russian strategic air defense is not adapted to detect and destroy targets such as drones. The problem is that radars are very poorly “see” by such air objects created, as a rule, from composite plastic and having not many metal parts in the structure. For their effective detection, numerous observation posts are required, which acts in the optical and sound method. Since Moscow is a huge metropolis, it is reliable to cover it from the air in this way - an almost impossible task.

“The ZRPK (anti-aircraft missile-gun complex)“ shell ”, capable of hitting drones is already in the immediate vicinity of their goal,” adds Sergei Migdal to fight such goals. “In such a situation nearby, both fragments of a knocked down device and its unexploded combat part can fall.”

Roman Svitan is convinced that the Russian air defense systems installed in the center of Moscow carry more threats to the civilian population than the attacking drones themselves. After all, their radius of action is several tens of kilometers, and shells and missiles that have gone “into milk” as a result with a high probability themselves will fall into residential quarters. “The anti -items of many air defense systems are filled with tens of thousands of damaging elements,” explains Roman Svitan. - The consequences of the explosion of such shells are clearly visible in places that Russia fired at the air defense system in the "Earth - Earth" mode. These are extremely dangerous types of weapons. Especially for those who have not had time to hide. ”

Sergei Migdal agrees that air defense systems may be dangerous for the most defending side. The expert gives an example of the Israeli Iron Dome system: the fragments of the anti -throat, knocking down the attacking shells, sometimes fall on the streets of settlements.
