A resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region was accused of confidential cooperation with the Ukrainian intelligence services

The FSB reported on the detention of a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the case of cooperation with the special services of Ukraine. this with reference to a press release from the local FSB department. reports RIA Novosti

A case was opened against the detainee regarding cooperation on a confidential basis with a foreign state (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code). According to the security forces, the man contacted the Ukrainian special services “in order to assist them in activities obviously directed against the security of the Russian Federation” - as follows from the press release, he wanted to participate in the war on the side of Ukraine.

A resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region was detained in early May, and now he is in the status of an accused. The court placed the man in custody.
