The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu for the first time since September 2022 called the number of dead Russian military - but only during three -day battles with the upcoming forces of Ukraine.

“In total, during the reflection of the enemy’s offensive, 71 soldiers died in the combined group of troops, 210 were injured. 15 tanks, nine infantry fighting vehicles, two cars and nine guns are shot down, ”he said.

The last time the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on losses in September 2022 - then it was said about 5937 of the murdered Russian military. These are underestimated numbers: by that time, on the basis of open data, journalists and volunteers were able to identify almost 6.5 thousand dead in the war from Russia.

Other pro -Russian sources previously reported on the presence of Leopard on the battlefield, but there is still no evidence of this. The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video on which direct hits are allegedly captured through the “leopards”, but the contours of the technique in the video do not even remotely resemble these tanks.
