At two in the morning at the hydroelectric power station in the new Kakhovka, something happened. Why something? In conditions of limited information, it is difficult to establish the truth. The Russian authorities announced the arrival of Ukrainian missiles to the dam, which led to the destruction of the dam. Locals say that there were no rockets. In the morning, representatives of the Russian government in the New Kakhovka turned to the Khersonites: do not worry, everything is under control, and in the meantime the city slowly but correctly went under water ( the photo of flooding published, in particular, TASS . - Ed. ).
In Kherson, at this hour, the microdistrict island and the ship district flooded, from where the local residents were evacuated by Ukrainian rescuers early in the morning. Whether one of the inhabitants remained there-we do not know. In the Kherson chats there are more and more often there are messages: "Who is nearby, I beg you, come to the address ... and remove the dog." No one will evacuate animals centrally - in this situation, at least people to save people.
It became known that the zoo in New Kakhovka went under water with the inhabitants.
In the naked pier controlled by the Russian authorities, the Left Bank of the Dnieper seems to be evacuating the population with the forces of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia. But those who want to evacuate should approach one of two points: to the Zirovy store or to exit from a naked marina when turning the highway to Skadovsk.
“Water has already flooded the coastal streets,” said Natalia V., a resident of a naked pier. - My mother is located precisely near ZIKOVO, but there she does not see the evacuation bus. I’m running to her now, I will take it to our area where I live with my husband, we will not flood us from the river further. We do not have cars to get somewhere.
Those who have relatives in the villages in cars were able to come for their relatives on a naked pier - in the morning many cars arrived in the city. Now, according to local residents, they allegedly blocked the road and do not let anyone into the city - only to leave.
“I can’t get to the evacuation points indicated by the administration,” says Christina L., the mother of two children. - This is very far away. Therefore, we are now dragging food, medicine and water in the attic - I hope the water will not reach. Three days we will hold out for sure, and there, according to our school lessons, the water will begin to subside.
