Five people died as a result of shelling by the Russian army

Over the past 24 hours, five people have been killed and two more injured as a result of Russian army shelling in Ukraine, local authorities report.

Air defense systems destroyed all 35 cruise missiles that attacked Russian troops, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command reported.

In the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, two people died and another was injured. They were victims of a Shahed-type UAV that destroyed a private house. In addition to this, seven more private houses were damaged in the region.

Two people died in the Donetsk region, the head of the local police department said. According to him, there are seven private houses and one apartment building in the region.

18 houses were destroyed in the Zaporozhye region. According to the local leader, the Russian army has shelled the region 105 times in total, including drone attacks.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops fired 353 shells into the Kherson region, the attacks killed one person and injured another.

The Russian army attacked the Dnepropetrovsk region twice, there is no information about casualties.

In the Kharkov region, at least 14 settlements came under fire. The head of the local police department reported that there were no casualties.

The Russian army also shelled the Nikolaev and Lugansk regions, no one was injured.
