In Komi, a deputy was fined due to the absence of a “foreign agent” sign on his requests to the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs

A court in Syktyvkar fined Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Komi Viktor Vorobyov 60,000 rubles in two administrative cases about the lack of a “foreign agent” marking. This was reported by the St. Petersburg edition of "Rotonda".

According to him, the reason for compiling the administrative protocols was the absence of a “foreign agent” badge on deputy inquiries that Vorobyov sent to the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

We are talking about four requests that concerned the actions of the mayor of Pechora, who called journalists prostitutes, the activities of the economic police, bailiffs and his United Russia colleague. Four administrative protocols were also drawn up against Vorobyov, two of them are yet to be considered by the court.

For repeated violation of the administrative article on “foreign agency” marking, Vorobyov may face criminal liability, as well as deprivation of deputy powers.

He himself explained the absence of such marking on his requests by the fact that if the "foreign agency" plate should be present on the forms of deputy requests, then it is necessary to mark in the same way, including draft laws developed by him, and then adopted laws.

Answering questions from the 7x7 publication, Vorobyov said that he did not receive a court decision, but learned about it from the media. He also promised to appeal against the fines imposed on him.
