Yuri Bordonsky is the founder of the unique fraternal Museum of Sveta, in the collection of which dozens of unique lamps of different times, from ceramic lamps of Byzantium to kerosene headlights of the first motorcycles. The entrance to the museum founded in 2009 is free. The museum also presents the numerous copyright lamps of Yuri Bordonsky, including dedicated to his favorite rock bands The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen. Now - and Led Zeppelin.
And at this time in Bratsk, our hero Yuri Valerievich Bordonsky continues to compose lamps from everything that caught his eye and falls into his hands: from glass cans, vases, old phones, planks, springs, wires, caps, tubes, cubes, medical caps, children's machines. From everything that exists, he can make a lamp, connecting objects in bizarre combinations and giving them a new meaning; But the lamps are not an end in itself, but only a means and method of light. He makes the light. For many years stubbornly, with a sense of its own purpose, makes light to pour out into our dark world.
And therefore, the master of light asks to call himself and write the word “light” with a capital letter.
And this old man from his new lamp is well known to us. Yes, and you probably too. The artist of the 19th century, which was captured in the picture, whose name is unknown, the old man spent decades in the dark corner of the English store of the second-hand. Once Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin fired a picture from a pile of jam. So she hit the cover of the great, deafening, furious, desperate and famous fourth album of the group, which did not and did not have the name - just the fourth. And there are no names of the musicians on the cover of the album - only mysterious signs, the meaning of which people still argue. They are on the lobby of the lamp.
So, after the Plant dug up the picture in a heap of junk to publish it on the cover of the album against the backdrop of ragged wallpaper, several decades passed, and Yuri Bordonsky, a businessman in real life and a master of light in the Super-Rock, belonging to a rock collection, which once blew dust from the cherished vinyl and was breaking up, looking for a staircase in Soviet dead ends in Soviet dead ends The sky took the old man by the hand and, carefully supporting it, brought from the flat two -dimensional world a picture to our three -dimensional volumetric world.
“They also made small discoveries for future recreate of the old man’s image with this, the dear to the heart of the music lines of the picture: the bundle of brushwood holds on his back with a long stick, on which the Knitting is strung and the old man rests. There are no rope straps. And on his left side he has a bag with an ax ”(from a letter from Yuri Bordonsky).
The old man who lived in the 19th century somewhere in Gloucester or Devonshire, in the seventies of the XX century, extracted from non-existence by Page and Plato and now a mascot reincarnated in Bratsk, is a mystery. It is not only unknown to the artist who painted him is unknown who he is and what embodies. The English poor fellow from the novel of Dickens and a poor closet with an old stove, for which he collects brushwood in the forest? This is evidenced by his brown, shabby suit with a large patch on his left trouser, a shabby hat and a long -tribute beard. Is he a tramp? Or we look at life too much at life, but we must see in the old man the personification of a lonely life in nature in the spirit of Henry David Toro, who also lived alone in the hut and which had the same mild beard. The philosopher drowned the stove with a wet brushwood and did not pay taxes. Either this is wrong, and the old man is a symbol and the embodiment of pure truth, expressed in the high world with a map of Tarot No. 9, belonging to senior arcans and a named hermit. This card is on the turn of the album called IV.

We do not know this. And Led Zeppelin never knew and now they do not know. And the master of light does not know, although, however, it suggests:
“Maybe this is not a character at all from the picture on the cover of the album, but the apostle Peter is the guard of heavenly paradise, who descended from heaven to earth ...”
So he wrote to me in a letter. Whoever he is, this old man overgrown with a beard in a flat black hat, for some reason he enchants our gaze and fascinates the thought. The master of light out of love for music gave him a pipe - let him play. This lamp sounds, although it is soundless. It happens. He, out of humanity, gave an old man a dog, which is not in the picture, but there is music in music. In the dog we learn Black Dog, the very dog who ran on the tasks of the Bron-Er Air mansion, in which Led Zeppelin recorded the fourth album and inspired the musicians to a fierce sound. Now the dog, having calmed down, lies at the old man’s feet and listens to a song about himself.
If you were a tramp, even a hermit or even an apostle, the dog will warm you with his friendship and support you with his participation.
And nothing else is needed.
The lamp exists in two incarnations. You see both. The first - the old man carries a bundle of brushwood on his back. He has been doing this for a hundred and fifty years and got used to it. The brushwood for the lamp - a real brushwood - artist Vladimir Nikishin, a comrade of the master of light, cut a secateur in a park near the fraternal hydroelectric power station. The second - behind the old man, bending, Stairway to Heaven grows up. But there is also a third incarnation, implying, living in thought and a dream-in one of the squares of London, in the middle of which the master of light intends to someday put this lamp. The old man will have human growth there, the staircase behind him will bend to the upper floors of the buildings, and the star in the shape of a star will rise above the roofs and shine for everyone who listened and listens to Led Zeppelin.
