According to Anichkina, not only the participants in their own, returning to ordinary life with post -traumatic syndrome, but also members of their families, usually need medical and psychological adaptation. And here the problem of solving the problem can be consulting and cordination centers of support for veterans, where they can not only provide psychological assistance, but also help with employment.

Medical rehabilitation of veterans, providing them with medicines and prostheses, social adaptation, training and employment, as well as palliative assistance, that is, the support of those who will no longer be able to return to normal life.

This fund has two clinical psychologists.

According to the speakers at the forum, psychologists who work with veterans most often encounter alcoholism, depressive disorders and family problems. At the same time, former military personnel are usually in no hurry to receive a psychologist, fearing the stigma of the “psycho”.

Meanwhile, in one of the villages of the Kantemirovsky district several months ago, a unique department of manual therapy was closed (it worked in the rented premises of the district hospital), where people from all over Russia came to be treated and even from abroad. Harbies, protrusion, dislocations of joints - all this was treated by the local doctors, to whom the military doctors came to their own in the fall of 2022 and said that all the areas of this department would soon move under the hospital. Specialists left, took out expensive equipment, and the lock is still hanging on the door of the department.
