At the same time, the Ukrainian side speaks out about the situation very sparingly. Thus, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexei Danilov, said in a comment on Reuters that Ukraine has not yet begun the planned counterattack, and its beginning will be obvious to everyone when this will happen. Whereas President Vladimir Zelensky noted in an interview with Bild that "the schedule of the beginning of the movement of troops has already been approved and decisions have been made."

Independent sources give their versions of what is happening on the contact line. So, the Volya TG channel, referring to its sources in the troops on both sides of the front, reported that reconnaissance by the battle, which the APU began at many points of the combat contact line, was almost everywhere perceived as the main offensive operations. Therefore, to the places where the Ukrainians tried to check the defense of the RF Armed Forces for strength, reserves were immediately transferred, and disguised artillery batteries opened fire on the advancing small Ukrainian formations.

“Attracting reserves allowed in most directions to recapture Ukrainian intelligence in battle and prevent them from turning into breakthroughs (as it was in September 2022 in the Kharkov region),” says Volya. - But the main blow of the Armed Forces has not yet begun, and a third of the reserves of the Zaporizhzhya group is already involved in battles and suffers losses. On the morning of June 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to pull up to three brigades and break through the Russian defense in the Novodonetsk - October (Kremenchik) area.
