- Am I regretted what I did? I am sorry that I overdid it and my actions gave the ground for excitement [case] an article on terrorism. I am sorry that my grandmother will remain unattended in which she needs. Besides me, she has no one else. I am sorry that I have no opportunity to help my loved ones, who now need it. Otherwise, I acted in good conscience, ”said Bogdan Ziza in his last word . - I continue to protest even out of imprisonment. Completing the possible period of conclusion, and how it can affect my health and even life. But am I worthy of my life? Is each of us worthy of our carefree life when we are silent, while innocent people die daily?
Bogdan is 28 years old. He is an orphan, his grandmother raised him in Yevpatoria. He has relatives only in Ukraine, with them he maintained contact. Before the arrest, Ziz was engaged in 3D modeling, created games, earned photo and video shooting. Sometimes he worked as a barista, even went to Russia to work. Then the war began.
“From the beginning of the war and before the detention, I did not make a single publication in social networks and did not publicly express it in any way,” Bogdan recalled in an interview with Crimea. Realiyam. - I don't know whether it is good or bad. I closed in myself and did not communicate with anyone except my sister and friends from Ukraine. I watched the reaction of friends and acquaintances from Crimea and Russia: who behaved like and how he reacted to war. Very disappointed in his environment.
Understanding that some publication on the network will not give anything, as well as very tired of all horrors, from public silence and, first of all from my personal, I wanted to do at least something that would at least quench the internal pain.
I decided to draw attention to as many people as possible and did it already in the usual way, which always saved in complex psychological states - through the paint.
On the night of May 16, 2022, Bogdan Ziza came to the building of the administration of Yevpatoria, doused it with the paint of the flowers of the Ukrainian flag. A guard jumped out of the building with a cry: "What are you doing, *la?" In the investigation, this guard claimed that Ziza “expressed dissatisfaction with the“ Swell ”and shouted“ Glory to Ukraine ”. The artist himself in the testimony claimed that he had advised the guard to call the police, and at that time he set fire to two bottles with Molotov’s cocktail. The wick of one went out while she flew out the window of the building. He threw a second bottle of incendiary mixture into the wall, and the flame rose a few meters in height.

During the court hearings, Bogdan Ziza insisted that he did not pursue the goal of setting fire to the building: the incendiary mixture was prepared to record a bright video.
When Bogdan went to the action, he dressed so that it was difficult to find out: black clothes, a sweatshirt with a hood, a mask on his face. Having done the plan, he quickly changed into spare clothing near the neighboring house, and the one that was on it during the promotion threw it onto the roof.
Despite all conspiracy measures, the Crimean security forces came to him quickly enough. At about 15 hours on May 16, Ziza was detained. He was without a lawyer for several hours. At this time, a video with an apology was recorded, which was then actively broadcast by Russian propagandists, talking about the repentance of the artist from Yevpatoria.
The videos were recorded after beatings. Later, the court appointed the artist a fine for discrediting the Russian army (30 thousand rubles) and sent him to the pre -trial detention center on suspicion of attempted attempt on a terrorist attack.
Initially, they planned to initiate a criminal case of vandalism and attempted attempted destruction of other people's property against Ziza. For these articles, an artist would face a fine of 40 thousand rubles, forced works or a term of up to five years. But the very next day, investigators found terrorism in his deeds. Zizu was accused under several articles of the Criminal Code of Russia: the threat of a terrorist attack, the justification of terrorism and vandalism.
“Ziza committed a terrorist attack, that is, arson that frightening the population and creating the dangers of human death, causing property damage, in order to destabilize the activities of government bodies and influence their decisions,” the prosecutor read the indictment at one of the court hearings.

On June 10, 2022, Rosfinmonitoring introduced Bogdan Zizu on the list of extremists and terrorists. In January 2023, he was transferred to Rostov, where he was convicted.
The main evidence base of the prosecution in the case was posts with two videos, published by a professional scammer, blogger Alexander Talipov, author of telegram channels Talipov Online Z and Crimean Smersh. At the same time, the first video, which, according to the investigation, earlier Ziza himself posted on Instagram in a specially created Sirota.crimea account for this, was later deleted.
“There is a terrible war that Putin and the state machine unleashed, propaganda is trying to convince the people with all his might that this is normal. He is trying to convince that nothing needs to be done, sitting silently and watching, waiting for no one to do anything. But now it is very important to go outside and express their protest, so that those who are against this war, those who are sitting at home and are afraid to express their opinion, see that they are not alone. There are many of us. And we are more than those who support this war. But we selected this opportunity, selected the opportunity to go out during the day, but we can go out at night. I urge everyone to go out at night and express my protest, ”says a voice on the video.
The second video, published in the telegram channel of Talipov, is a record from the surveillance cameras, which recorded the action conducted by the artist.
“All the photos that merged were [published] after its recognition. There was not a single viewing in his Instagram account, and Talipov had a thousand people! So who did more harm? " - the lawyer of Ziza Tarara Omelchenko said in court.
Talipov became one of the main witnesses in the case.
Novyevropa has already written that on the peninsula, with the support of the regional authorities, the cultural of informational is actively popularized. And the regional media, and bloggers, and “caring citizens” increasingly write denunciations of neighbors, acquaintances and unfamiliar hints of sympathy for Ukraine. For those who hope to return the peninsula to Ukraine, Crimean Z-activists even came up with a special word-“Zhduna”.
The community of civilian snaps on the peninsula was just headed by the blogger Alexander Talipov.
Officially, Talipov has not been working for a long time. He was always a “confusion”, but before the war he raised on social networks the issues of corruption on the peninsula. After the start of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine for Talipov, the time came. He began to collect money for the Russian army and publicly call on the reprisal against all opponents of the war and sympathizing with Ukraine. At first he wrote about this in the telegram channel “Talipov Online Z”, and in the fall of 2022 he united Crimean scammers in the community-he created the Crimean Smersh telegram channel. Now the channel has gained more than 60 thousand subscribers. It actively discusses that everyone who is against Putin and war must be deprived of Russian citizenship, take property and shoot. Subscribers of the channel seek out people who are disloyal to Putin’s regime in social networks, at work, in catering establishments, on the street, in transport - and write denunciations to the blogger.
At the beginning of 2023, Talipov even received a letter from the Federal Russian Center for Combating Extremism. At the end of March, he boasted that 90% of people who came into the view of the “Crimean SMERSH” receive administrative punishment and fines. Last year alone, thanks to his publications, 4 thousand people were registered, 200 of them were held accountable. This year, about 80 protocols have already been drawn up, he said.

Bogdan Ziza was one of the first victims of Talipov’s informational activity.
On June 6, the judge of the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don Roman issued the artist a punishment of 15 years in prison . At the same time, the prosecution requested a maximum security colony for him for 18 years.
“I'm not a terrorist, it’s even funny to say it,” Ziza said in the last word. - I am a man of morals and principles who will rather give his life than to take someone else's. But even I am not ready to give a life to the FSIN of the Russian Federation. I declare a hunger strike with a demand to deprive me of the citizenship of the Russian Federation, as well as to free all Ukrainian political prisoners. If something happens to me in imprisonment, I want society to know that this is only because I am a Ukrainian who opposed the war in my country. These are my last words spoken in Russian publicly in this country, while this regime is ... red ... red ...
The hunger strike Bogdan Ziza promised to start on June 10.
