The Russian FSB announced the arrest of former employees of the military-industrial complex suspected of transmitting data to Ukrainian intelligence and preparing for sabotage.
According to the department, the detainees were sent to a pre-trial detention center as part of a case of high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code) and preparation for sabotage (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 281 with the application of Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code).
According to investigators, the suspects handed over technical documentation and samples of products used in the creation of weapons and military equipment to Ukrainian intelligence, and were also preparing to blow up railway tracks in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, which supply Russian military personnel participating in the war with Ukraine.
The FSB press release also states that security forces seized an explosive weighing more than four kilograms, four fuses, design documentation and military products, as well as $150,000.
