
In Tomsk, a third -year student of the Siberian State Medical University Artem Lazarev lost consciousness during the exam, and later died in the hospital without regaining consciousness. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Street Barkhatnaya" with reference to students.
According to the fellow students of the deceased, the student of the Faculty of Medicine lost consciousness in the pharmacology exam on June 10. It was taken by the teacher Alexander Vengerovsky. Students said that they could not quickly call an ambulance, since the university included dumbfounds of communication for the duration of the exams.
Artem Lazarev died in the hospital the next day. University students told Doxa that he was an excellent student and before the exam "he was sitting in training and drank energy."
The rector of the university Yevgeny Kulikov denies that they could not call an ambulance on time. At the same time, he does not mention the muffins of the connection, but writes that all students received "excellent", and the situation in the exam was calm.
“The call entered the ambulance at 09:57 with the reason“ unconscious ”, at 10:03 the doctors team was at the place of call and began to provide medical care. At 10:04, a specialized resuscitation team was aimed at the call. At 10:15, it was at the place of call,” the rector said. Judging by the message, the deceased himself was not from Tomsk.
According to Kulikov, after the resuscitation measures, Lazarev was taken to the Research Institute of Cardiology of the Tomsk National Research Medical Center, where he died on June 11. The exact cause of death is not reported, students say that he had a cardiac arrest.
The Department of Science and Higher Education of the Tomsk Region conducts an audit. The Investigative Committee of Russia did not comment on the student’s death.
