Ex-candidate for mayors of Novosibirsk received 2 years for fraud

In Novosibirsk, the court sentenced the former candidate for mayor Sergei Pronichev to two years in prison and a fine of 100 thousand rubles under an article on attempted fraud, the press service of the court reports.

The case is connected with the film about the members of "United Russia". Pronichev was in jail since April 16, 2021 and under house arrest from April 27, 2022. With this in mind, he was released from serving the term in the colony and was released. The police opened a criminal case against Pronichev and the former journalist Goskanal "from Nikolai Salnikov in April 2021.

According to investigators, they demanded 9 million rubles from one of the deputies of the Novosibirsk City Council for non -customizing materials. The intermediary in the transaction was the media manager Evgeny Kuzmenko. During the transfer of the first amount of 1.5 million rubles from the deputy of the City Council, Alexander Tarasov Pronichev and Salnikov, the FSB operatives detained. The journalist called the criminal prosecution "political provocation."
