At the same time, the text draws parallels with the massacre of civilians in Buch during the war in Ukraine.

The material published this morning entitled "The archives declassified the recognition of the Nazis on the execution of the Poles in Katyn." The only historical source that the authors rely on are the testimony of the photographer of the crime police of the Third Reich Fritz Yurashek, taken from the state archive of the latest socio -political history of the Smolensk region.

Yurashki, approved, spoke about his work in a special commission, which created materials "for slanderous propaganda against the Soviet Union", built on messages about the "atrocities of the Russians." This "fake" commission allegedly wanted to "sell" the USA and England. In fact, the Nazis committed the execution in Katyn, writes RIA Novosti with reference to Yurashek's statements.

In the final part of the article, entitled “from Katyn to Buch”, the State Agency, referring to unnamed historians and specialists, claims that the Nazis shot the Poles in Katyn, and the German propaganda, led by Goebbels, announced the involvement of the Soviet NKVD.

Experts allegedly interviewed by the RIA Novosti pro -government argue that “Katyn business” was a provocation of the special services of the Third Reich, who wanted to split into the ranks of the anti -Hitler coalition, ”and Poland, through which the Red Army was supposed to reach the border of Germany, represent this as the“ atrocities of Moscow ”.
