The bay in annexed Sevastopol is guarded by fighting dolphins. According to British intelligence, they are probably needed to "counter enemy divers."

Since the summer of 2022, Russia has invested heavily in strengthening the security of the main base of the Black Sea Fleet, the British Ministry of Defense daily report reports. At the entrance to the harbor of Sevastopol, according to British intelligence, at least four layers of nets and booms have been installed.

In addition, the number of trained marine mammals has increased there in recent weeks. The report notes that the number of floating pens for these animals in the harbor has almost doubled. There, presumably, bottlenose dolphins are kept. At the same time, the Russian Navy allegedly uses white whales and seals in the Arctic waters.

British intelligence claims that Russia has trained these animals for a number of missions.
