Prigozhin: ‘This is no military coup, this is a justice march’

Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin says that Wagner Group actions directed against Russia’s Defense Ministry are not a military coup.

This is no military coup. This is a justice march. Our actions in no way interfere with the troops.

Prigozhin said earlier that his fighters “are stopping the evil that [Russia’s] military leadership is carrying out.” The tycoon promised to “swiftly eliminate” anyone who “tries to resist,” including at checkpoints and in aviation.
