The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow fined the writer Dmitry Bykov for 40 thousand rubles due to the lack of a “foreign” marking. This was written by TASS with reference to the press service of the court.
Bykov was found guilty under the article on the absence of a “foreign agent” in the publications of marking (part 4 of article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). “He did not indicate the status of the foreign agent in the video on YouTube,” they wrote to TASS, without adding other information.
In October 2022, the Nikulinsky court had alreadyfined a writer for 10 thousand rubles due to the fact that he did not put a “foreign” marking in three posts of his telegram channel.
At the moment Bykov is outside of Russia.
The writer was included in the register of the media - “foreign agents” in July 2022.
Since May of this year, the Ministry of Justice has actively drawn up protocols under the article on the absence of a “foreign” marking. Two offenses under Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which entered into force, become a reason for criminal prosecution: the security forces can start a case of “malicious evasion of the duties of“ foreign agent ”” (Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code), the maximum punishment is five years of imprisonment. In addition, in December 2022, the law came into force and numerous legislative amendments to the “foreign” regulation.
