
The Danish brewery Carlsberg Group signed an agreement on the sale of its Russian business-Baltika, writes the press service of Carlsberg Group.
Details . The company's statement says that "signing an agreement on the sale of Russian business is a very important milestone in a very difficult process of separation and sale." The press service notes that Carlsberg Group was important to find "the best possible solution for all interested parties, including more than eight thousand employees in Russia."
Now the deal is awaiting approval by the regulatory bodies of Russia. When it ends, it is unknown. The name of the buyer is also not disclosed.
The Baltic press service also writes that the company will continue activities in the current mode until the transaction is completed.
