Camps are being built in Belarus for Wagner PMCs

In Belarus, they began to build military camps for fighters of PMC Wagner, according to "Layout" with reference to the forestry of the Mogilev region. According to journalists, the camps will be located 200 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, near the town of Osipovichi, and will be able to accommodate up to 8,000 mercenaries.

An interlocutor of the publication in the forestry said that they were given the task of building camps before noon on Tuesday, June 26. According to him, the area of ​​the camps will be 24,000 square meters. Information about this construction was confirmed to Verstka by a source close to the leadership of the Mogilev region, as well as relatives of the Wagnerites.

A relative of one of the fighters, in a conversation with journalists, claimed that the Wagner PMC units remaining in Rostov-on-Don would be sent to Belarus. The wife of another mercenary said that her husband was in Rostov on Saturday, and then said that they would “most likely” be sent to Belarus, and did not get in touch again. Three more participants in chats in which relatives of mercenaries communicate wrote that they had received similar messages from their relatives, but in a conversation with Nestka they could not confirm the information about the sending of Wagnerites to Belarus.

The project "Belarusian Gayun" denied the information about the construction of camps for Russian mercenaries in Belarus. According to him, no activity was recorded in the Osipovichi district over the past day. “The data of a foreign (Russian) publication that they managed to get a comment from sources close to the leadership of the Mogilev region raises certain questions,” the project participants added. According to them, local independent publications have not received such comments and do not yet confirm the information about the camps.

"Belarusian Gayun" writes that as of June 26, columns of Wagner PMCs moving to Belarus or already on the territory of the republic were not noticed.

On the evening of June 24, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the criminal case on incitement to rebellion against Prigozhin would be dropped, and that the founder of Wagner PMC would be able to leave for Belarus. Shortly before this, Alexander Lukashenko held talks with the Prigozhins, after which he deployed the columns of his mercenaries and announced that he would not lead them to Moscow.

Where Prigozhin is now is unknown. On June 25, his press service published a message stating that he was "not in touch yet." “He sends his regards to everyone and will answer all questions when he is on normal communication,” the message said. It has now been removed. The last time Yevgeny Prigozhin was seen was when he was leaving by car from Rostov-on-Don on the evening of June 24.
