On June 28, at 19.30, in the Moscow Illusion, you can see the film of Roman Mikhailov “Heritage”. He was in the program "An example of intonation." And it is unlikely that you heard about this atmospheric movie with air. Author's cinema does not have funds for advertising.

But sometimes this is a movie.

Mikhailov’s little film reminded me of the phrase from his story about the old TV, which beats the current: “It was possible to bring the palm to the screen and stroke the sharp spikelets.” “Heritage” is a kind of mystical fairy tale, while it beats the current of an unacceptable, inexperienced life. With Germanic intonation, sipia-image, wooden barracks with the smell of poverty. With a party and a gogot of adolescents smoking grass listening to Russian rap. With hungry fights. With replicas running into each other. With deafening, to dumbness, the first love.

Ruslan (Oleg Chugunov from the film "Major Thunder ...") visits a neighbor, the old healer Tikhon Sergeyevich, nailed to the bed. He wears products, cottage cheese there and so on. And before his death, faded, like an old photo, a coughing old man asks for one thing: so that the memorial service is real, at least an hour.

When he doesn’t become a healer, Ruslan will ask the local priest to sing the doctor. Since childhood, the priest Ruslan knows when he was an altar boy. He also said that he saw an angel. But still, the priest would refuse, he was, he says, Tikhon by the Old Believers. I know for sure. Not supposed. Ruslan will stuck in the city. But there is a turn from the gate.

And no one will come from rural to the funeral, how Ruslan fought at the door of the neighbors. Not supposed.

Somewhere behind the snowy grave crosses, angels in white dresses will be rolled. Or maybe it seemed to Ruslan.

“Heritage” is the fourth picture of the director and writer Roman Mikhailov based on his story from the collection “Holidays”.

The "Heritage" was shot in two weeks with a microbudge. Now the director is filming the fifth picture. Collection "Holidays" published.
