Poland decided to strengthen its eastern border in connection with the possible appearance of the Wagner PMC in Belarus. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Polish Government Yaroslav Kachinsky, reports WPROST. It is planned to increase the number of the military located on the border, as well as create new fortifications. According to the Polish side, about eight thousand PMC fighters may accommodate in Belarus.

After the rebellion of the Wagner PMC, Vladimir Putin said that mercenaries who want to go with Belarus will be able to do this. On June 27, the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that the Wagnerians will be provided with one of the abandoned military units. Lukashenko also noted that the owner of the PMC Evgeny Prigozhin on Thursday was in Belarus.

The day before, the Pentagon official said that the Wagner PMC units are still in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
