Documentaryists from Yakutia Maxim and Evgeny Arbugaevs, who shot the short film “Exit” nominated at Oscar, were invited to the ranks of the US Cinema Academy. It is reported by Variety.

In addition, the list was composer Anna Drubich, the daughter of actress Tatyana Drubich and director Sergei Solovyeva. She wrote music for the documentary of the Canadian director Daniel Roer “Navalny”, the American horror film “Barbarian”, the Russian series Valery Todorovsky “in two” and other works.

The list of the film Academy also appeared producer Melanie Miller and Mounter Langdon Page, who worked on the film “Navalny - a picture telling about the poisoning of a Russian politician, received an Oscar in 2023.

In total, the American film academy invited 398 artists and filmmakers this year. Among them are singer Taylor Swift, actors Austin Butler (Elvis) and Kuan Ke Hui (“All everywhere and at once”). If all those invited this year will accept the proposal, the total number of the film academy will increase from 10,665 to 10,817 people.
