The head of Rostov-on-Don estimated the damage to the city from the Wagner PMC mutiny at almost 100 million rubles

The head of the administration of Rostov-on-Don, Alexei Logvinenko, estimated the damage to the city from the rebellion of PMC Wagner at least 92.5 million rubles. It is reported by RTVI.

According to the city authorities, the military equipment of the mercenaries damaged 12,000 square meters of the roadway and 210 square meters of the sidewalk. The arrows of the tram tracks were also damaged. Repair of roads and tracks, which according to the administration is fully completed, cost the budget 28.8 million rubles.

“Five units of specialized municipal equipment were also damaged. For its restoration, 63.7 million rubles are preliminarily needed. The final amount of restoration work will be known at the end of the repair of the machines, ”the administration said in a response to the publication’s request.

On the afternoon of June 24, the troops of PMC "Wagner" announced a "march of justice" and took control of Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, after which they began to move towards Moscow. On the evening of the same day, Alexander Lukashenko announced that he had held talks with Yevgeny Prigozhin, as a result of which he managed to convince the rebel to stop the "camp on Moscow."
