An administrative case was opened against the historian and teacher Tamara Eidelman for the lack of “foreign agent” markings (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code). Mediazona drew attention to the administrative file card .
It is unknown what became the reason for drawing up the protocol. The case will be considered by the Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow; the hearing date has not yet been set.
Eidelman was added to the register of “foreign agents” on September 9, 2022. At the end of May, a case was already opened against her for lack of marking; a court hearing on it is scheduled for July 27.

- In addition, Vladimir Putin signed a law on imprisonment for a term of up to five years for “foreign agents” who were brought to justice twice in a year for violating the procedure for the activities of a “foreign agent” (Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code).
