Ramzan Kadyrov says he has instructed the authorities to identify those involved in attack on journalist Elena Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov responded to the attack on journalist Elena Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov, saying “we’ll get to the bottom of this,” and that he has “instructed the relevant authorities to make every effort to identify the attackers. The authorities began to work as soon as it was reported.”

In early 2022, Kadyrov openly threatened Milashina, calling the journalist a “terrorist” and “terrorist accomplice,” and demanding her arrest.
