The governor of the Belgorod region estimated the restoration of Shebekino at 20 billion rubles

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the region needs 20 billion rubles to restore facilities in the Shebekinsky urban district. His words are quoted by TASS.

“The total volume, we have now calculated preliminary, 5 billion for the restoration of housing, 10 billion for the restoration of enterprises, more than 5 billion for the restoration of social institutions,” Gladkov said.

According to his calculations, five apartment buildings and 81 private houses were destroyed in the district. Also, more than 1.2 thousand apartments and houses require repair.

Earlier, the deputy head of the region, Dmitry Gladsky, reported that almost 90 enterprises located in the Shebekinsky and Graivoronsky urban districts of the Belgorod Region had been damaged by shelling since the beginning of May 2023.

Today Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that he would offer the residents of Shebekino, who now live in TAPs, to return to their homes within the next two weeks.

“Of course, this applies only to those whose apartments and houses are not destroyed or damaged,” the governor said.

He also recalled that no rent will be charged until August 1.
