Novaya Gazeta correspondent Elena Milashina was examined in a Moscow clinic, the newspaper reports in her telegram.
Milashina was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, multiple (up to 14) fractures of the hands and multiple soft tissue bruises.
Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov were severely beaten on the morning of July 4 in Grozny, where they arrived for the announcement of the verdict for Zarema Musayeva.
First, Milashina and Nemov were taken to a hospital in Grozny, then sent to Beslan. They flew to Moscow on the night of July 5 on a special flight, which was paid for by unnamed private individuals.
The Investigative Committee has not yet opened a criminal case into the attack.
